MetaMask is opening limited early access for Agent Wallet, a self-custodial wallet that lets AI agents trade swaps, perps, prediction markets, and LP positions across Ethereum-compatible chains while users keep control of funds. The security pitch is the actual product: Guard Mode enforces spend limits, protocol allowlists, approvals, transaction simulation, threat scanning, and MEV protection; risky transactions kick back to a human via 2FA. Transactions deemed safe get up to $10,000 of MetaMask Transaction Protection, with broader rollout planned in the next few months.
