Promote with Leviathan NewsCoinDesk ran the "x402 demand isn't there" piece in March, and now Reppel bounces to build something new while keeping the Foundation seat and Coinbase advisor role. A year post-launch the protocol still needs one AI agent actually paying for something at scale to validate the thesis. Either his new venture eats its own dogfood on x402 rails or it doesn't — that's the trade.
