Certora received a Canton Development Fund grant worth 2.01M Canton Coin, roughly $300K, to build an open-source static analysis tool for Daml projects on Canton. The tool will inspect compiled .dar files, map cross-package authority and template interactions down to source paths and line numbers, and surface privacy or security risks before deployment. It will ship under Apache 2.0 and plug into dpm, which matters because Canton is trying to sell privacy-first infrastructure to banks that need more than vibes before they run serious workflows onchain.
