The pitch is straightforward: use BNB Chain’s cheap rails, cited at roughly $0.005 gas, while WalletConnect Pay handles balance checks, routing, compliance, and settlement for merchants. WalletConnect says the network already includes Coinbase, Stripe, Shopify, BitPay, MoonPay, Mesh, and Ingenico POS terminals, making this a merchant distribution push for BNB holders rather than just another wallet integration.
