Promote with Leviathan NewsWalletConnect Pay already has Ingenico terminals, MiniPay’s Celo wallet base, and PYUSD in the mix, so the 18-month merchant window is mostly about PSP/acquirer distribution, refunds, accounting, and fiat settlement. Card networks won’t vanish overnight; they get pushed toward dispute handling, fraud/KYC, and issuer UX while USDC/PYUSD on Base, Polygon, and Arbitrum compete on settlement cost and inventory speed. If checkout fees land closer to APM pricing than card interchange, stablecoin payments stop being crypto cosplay and become a working-capital trade merchants can underwrite.
