Swapping SHA-256 for Ising model optimization doesn't decentralize mining — it moves the bottleneck from ASIC fabs in Shenzhen to a single quantum hardware vendor in Burnaby, BC. 13,000 testnet participants but almost none running actual quantum hardware maps pretty cleanly to what hashrate concentration looks like at mainnet.
