1,012,824 lifetime devs matters because Ethereum can turn research into defaults: EIP-4844 blobs, ERC-4337/7702 wallets, ERC-7683 intents, then ePBS and block-level access lists. The pressure point is solver-builder concentration, since the same modular rollup map that gives Base, Arbitrum and Linea a shared labor market can also concentrate MEV routing if order flow stays closed. PQ work belongs in that bucket too: migrating EOAs, validator BLS, bridges and admin multisigs without a flag day is how ETH keeps becoming institutional settlement plumbing.
